Working in customer service myself, when a mistake is made on the business end, we bend over backwards to please the client and make things right. Unfortunately I cannot say that was even close to the experience I had. I even have the voice mails confirming my appointment!
WHAT A JOKE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT! I made an appointment for my kitten close to a month ago. Everything was all set and confirmed. Two days before my appointment they call and say that whoever I spoke to scheduled me for an invalid time. When I called to reschedule (because of their mistake), I left a message. The answering machine said they would call back within the hour, and I ended up having to call back several hours later! I was told that there was no appointments, no record of my request, and basically I was on my own to find another Banfield that may or may not have something available.
Horrible experience with picking up monthly medications for my cat. They do not take good care of animals when they are dropped off in the morning. I do not recommend this Banfield to anybody.
I went to the banfeild pet vet located inside the store, this was the worst place in the world to try and go, when i talked to the first girl she said we are closing soon, google said 6, but it was 4:30 and i figured its a weekend maybe 5 is when they close, she go's on to tell me the 4:30 appointment was cancelled and the person was not showing up but she was going to talk to the manager to she what she could do for me. The manager comes over and has the most annoying "pretending to care" attitude on while not even considering helping me saying repeatedly "we close in a few minutes", still having a half hour if not the full hour and a half like it says on google. They give me a list of animal hospitals in the area instead. I knew what was wrong with my dog, Ive seen this before i simply needed a antibiotic would have paid and left a 15-20 minute process at the most, i told them this, the manager said o well we close in a few minutes, this was Pure laziness and lack of care for the pets they treat. they are the stereotypical do not care about you or anything that is wrong with your pet, when it comes to them they don't go any extra mile- they cut corners instead, truly disgusting behavior i could have said anything but the fact was they didn't want to work any longer even though the scheduled appointment for that time was canceled, instead of filling the slot and getting the money for the company the MANAGER, decided that it was better to take off the rest of the day, my dog is peeing blood and instead of just helping out someone who needed help she was lazy and wanted no part of me with an attitude that was incredible, i do no know how you can pretend to care like that, have a slot open, a group of people working with you, and a simple solution to the problem and still not even a thought. she should be fired straight up, if she worked for me she would have been gone along time ago with that attitude first and for most, if you don't care leave, if you don't want to work till the end of your shift leave, if its to hard to utilizes the 5 other people working there and getting paid for nothing don't let the door hit you on the way out. don't go here use a local vet trying to get by, at least those people care, pets are family and this place is a failing commercial business this women can not be bothered never going back, my dog wanted a toy and i didn't want to do business there. zero empathy in a sensitive market. pathetic shame on them, i really cant say how bad these people and that women are and is
How there is anywhere near a higher score than 1 is surprising...I wish i could put a 0 on this review. PLEASE tell me what the point is having a wellness plan if they penalize you for having that service. They are always booked i can never make an appointment when i have an emergency service needed they are not available...hot is it a pet hospital if they do not take on emergencies. I am disgusted by the company and Banfield should be closed down, false advertising and when you try and cancel you wellness account you need to call a 1800 number that does not pick up. Fraudulent. I will be letting every person i know to beware of this company. I will also be contacting as many major pet reviews sites/magazines to do the same. Disgusted.
What's the point of paying a monthly amount if when your dog has a problem they are always booked. Not worth my money at all. The ONLY doctor I am so grateful for is Dr. Tosh. He helped and dedicated his time in the beginning when my doberman started with his very severe skin issues. I didn't take him there anymore but when I went back a few years later to update and renew my prescription dog food he made it easy and actually remembered my Rocky. He was very pleased on how good he looked now and was happy to renew my prescription for the royal canine PR that my dog enjoys and helps keep him itch-free. Another note is my dog changed and so did my sister's. They always took them to the back to administer shots and my dog is very loving with humans but always got shy and very alert and scared when we went to banfield(except for Dr. Tosh, my dog liked him) and my sister's pittie was terrified to the point that my sister demanded they give him the shots in front of her and not in the back. But she still got fed up and canceled her plan. I canceled right after. We now take them to Fanwood and the dogs are so happy and friendly with the staff.
