A++++ Service. We went there to have our new home furnished and our salesperson Gene and the store manager Mac took care of us and devoted the better part of a morning going over our selections. They gave us the attention normally reserved for commercial customers . Both Gene and Mac were knowledgeable without being pushy like so many furniture and mattress stores. I literary dreaded going there at first because of all the bad experiences I have had at furniture stores but I was pleasantly surprised at the Raymour and Flanigan experience at the Watchung store. I almost never leave reviews on Google but I made an exception in this case as the service was out of this world. The prices are a bit higher than at discount furniture places but you get what you pay for! Now the prices we paid were very reasonable for the quality we received. All wood, no particle board garbage and leather upholstery that is just divine. For the quality you will not find better prices...this ain't no IKEA or Bob's Discount Furniture...you get quality stuff at a reasonable premium price. I will go back for my next furniture purchase. Lightening fast delivery...they get it in your house like 3 days later and they set everything up and take away the garbage.
Their 45 day mattress guarantee should be reviewed by consumer affairs.
Very satisfied!!! I had an issue with a delivery however the attention and prompt response starting with the customer service rep to Mac then delivery guys made the experience overall good.
Mr. Raymour & Mr. Flanagan need to make company policy changes or their stores will be closing. Please no management response needed, it's not going to change anything.
If you buy something you have to sign more paperwork than a home loan.
They will push their high interest Raymor & Flanagan credit card on you.
This place reminders me of car dealerships on Rt 22 in the 70's & 80's. All the sale associates swarm at you when you enter the building and most will tell you anything to make a sale. Their sales pitch is to tell that they worked out a great deal by marking everything up to a price that nobody pays then discounting that to a price that is still expensive.
I found the welcome service quite nice but cannot say the same thing for a second visit. Two customer reps. argued instead of helping me. They were helpful to walk you around the store, but they won't give you the options for your budget criteria. You need to search online while wandering in the store for your desired criteria. Double check the price online cause they added a protection plan that I didn't ask for and I had hard time returning it(settled for changing later on). If delivery and assembly of the furniture is done in one time you're lucky. I had to wait the parts that were not in their inventory for a second visit for assembly. The parts were not suitable in the second visit too. I contacted customer service (spent too much time to reach them).They'll visit after nearly 1 month time from the date of purchase to check what's wrong with the furniture and hopefully fix the parts. Price and selection of the products are fine. imho, the store is best for pick-up your own and do it yourself.
