If I could provide a negative rating I would, minutes ago I was in the Watchung Wal-Mart.
She was the highest level manager at this point and pretty much said I can call the 1-800# as a brush off at this point.
I found or so I thought a office car for a great price of $37.24 since the box was on the bottom shelf I request help and the assistant manager Oscar provided me assistance. During this process I talked about how excited I was to get the last chair for $37.24 to Oscar. He informed me that if I needed help at checkout they could call someone to help me.
Take at look at the display and the product that I took before I left.
Well stocked huge store. Items that I researched before entering this store were actually there!
Typical store. They have a lot of items. The two times I have been there, they have been well stocked. The store was clean both of the times and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to drop off and but what I needed there. The parking lot is normal size, and they have a lot of carts.
I am new in the area and this Walmart definitely beat the Walmart in Woodbridge. It’s so much cleaner and more organized and the staff is friendlier. There is more than 2 registers open and I am always very satisfied when I do go.
This is a very large Walmart with a huge selection of goods. They have clothes, toys, bikes, crafts and grocery. I would have given them five stars, but their check out process is way too long, as is the customer service center. They need more staff!
I'm so disappointed in the lack of customer experience by the managers at Wal-mart tonight. I frequently visit this location although I have heard many horror stories that hasn't been my case. I guess bc I never had a issue up until this point. I did call the 1800 and all they did was document the poor service I received. However that still doesn't resolve my issue of not having a office chair because the store is poorly merchandised and the managers couldn't care either. Talk about false advertising at its best.
About 10 minutes later at checkout Adrienne was admiring the chair and I said your too late this is the last one and its #37.24 and we laughed. When she rung up my items the cost came to $139 I informed her to call Oscar because he assisted me. She proceeded, then Latanya came over and said Oscar was getting ready to leave for the day as he was suppose to leave at 5pm and its about 6:15pm at this point. I said ok but can he come to confirm the price or should I meet him at the location. She seemed to get frustrated when I continued to ask the whereabouts of Oscar and she then replied its a $100 difference and she can't honor it. I said the chair even has a display over the slot where the location was put, she said Oscar said he didnt tell me a price and he was going to clock out. He never came to the front of the store, so I started to walk the the location of where I got the chair and the other AM Susan was looking at the spot. She said she can't honor it bc Oscar didn't and their on the same level. She then went on the give me a tutorial of how Wal-M sets up merchandising and put price tags to the left of the merchandise. So I responded where is the price tag for this item? She responded "Oh its not put up". So I'm assuming I can't trust your displays or the price tags that are out for items.
Although, completing my purchasing process was time consuming due to overcrowding during the holiday season. My overall experience was that of content because I was able to find my necessary merchandise!
